5/18/19 - This is a cup that I threw this week. I accidentally had it fly off the wheel and dent but i kept trimming it and I think that it actually turned out pretty good. This cup is for my final. I plan to hopefully make it high fire and make it look good. I also painted my two plates for my final with gloss glaze and i hope to get them fired soon.

5/9/2019 - Im really happy, this week i was able to get two plates decorated and ready to be fired in the greenware kiln. I'm happy because today I was actually able to throw something nice on the wheel. It looks surprisingly short and stout in the photo but in real life its a lot taller. I really like how my cup looks and i just want it to turn out good

5/2/2019 - This week my bust finally got finished and I really like the way that it turned out, I really like the glaze i chose a lot. My rectangular plate didnt really work out. It got too dry, so it was hard to add new parts to it, and because I added a huge hole to it, there was really no fixing that once it was dry. I got kind of bored with the rectangular idea and i put it in the slop bucket, rolled a new slab, and ive made a triangular plate. Im keeping with the same concept but not using the exact same construction method. I let this plate set out to dry so hopefully it will become more leather hard over the weekend.

4/25/19 - this week i finished up my set of four and started on my dinner place setting. For the dinner plate i was going to do a rectangle shape and i traced it out to the right size but the clay is too thick. I hope that it will be moist enough to keep flattening. For the four plates I put on a few good coats of transparent gloss glaze over the underglaze and i hope that they turn out good.

4/17/2019 - These are the plates that I was able to finish this week and i really like the way they look. I used all underglaze and scraffitod the pictures into them. I really hope that the colors turn out nice and im looking forward to seeing them after firing. For my bust i covered it in a tourmaline colored hihg fire glaze and im excited to see how it will turn out. Today I also made a small bowl on the throwing wheel.
