P2 Ceramics 1 Lora B

8/30/18 - These are three things I worked on in this class. The soap dish that I had made ended up drying uneven on the bottom and was say too wobbly so I put it in the slop bucket. The second picture is a pinch pot I attempted to made. I believe that the clay used was way too wet and the ball i used was also too large. I had to re-wedge it with some drier clay and I added more coils to my coil pot. I feel like my coil pot is coming along nicely and I put it back inside the plastic bag so that it will be workable next time and I can continue adding to it.

8/29/18 - These two pieces I began working on on the 28th. The top picture is a coil pot I am beginning to make. I was only done with those two layers so I placed it inside of a plastic bag, so hopefully it will still be workable. The second picture is a slab creation. Im hoping that this will turn into a soap holder for my grandma. I left it out to dry and am planning to paint it with underglaze.

8/23/18 - These are some ancient historical pots that I like. Id like to make something similar to these in some way because I've always been interested with how ancient peoples made pottery and how they decorated their art. I feel like they would make very interesting flower pots of some kind on a smaller scale.

8/21/18 - The five stamps I had made before today, and tried to stamp. Plus the last stamp I made today. I tried working on the small face project but I didn't like the results.
