8/30/18 - These are three things I worked on in this class. The soap dish that I had made ended up drying uneven on the bottom and was say too wobbly so I put it in the slop bucket. The second picture is a pinch pot I attempted to made. I believe that the clay used was way too wet and the ball i used was also too large. I had to re-wedge it with some drier clay and I added more coils to my coil pot. I feel like my coil pot is coming along nicely and I put it back inside the plastic bag so that it will be workable next time and I can continue adding to it.

5/2/2019 - This week my bust finally got finished and I really like the way that it turned out, I really like the glaze i chose a lot. My rectangular plate didnt really work out. It got too dry, so it was hard to add new parts to it, and because I added a huge hole to it, there was really no fixing that once it was dry. I got kind of bored with the rectangular idea and i put it in the slop bucket, rolled a new slab, and ive made a triangular plate. Im keeping with the same concept but not using the exact same construction method. I let this plate set out to dry so hopefully it will become more leather hard over the weekend.

4/25/19 - this week i finished up my set of four and started on my dinner place setting. For the dinner plate i was going to do a rectangle shape and i traced it out to the right size but the clay is too thick. I hope that it will be moist enough to keep flattening. For the four plates I put on a few good coats of transparent gloss glaze over the underglaze and i hope that they turn out good.
