2/2/2019 - This is the beginning fo my bust sculpture. I did this on tuesday of this week and on thursday you told me that my head needed to be bigger or else all of my facial features will be too small. I like the proportions of this piece but decided to make everything bigger so i am currently working on recreating the proper proportions for a bigger head and shoulders.

5/2/2019 - This week my bust finally got finished and I really like the way that it turned out, I really like the glaze i chose a lot. My rectangular plate didnt really work out. It got too dry, so it was hard to add new parts to it, and because I added a huge hole to it, there was really no fixing that once it was dry. I got kind of bored with the rectangular idea and i put it in the slop bucket, rolled a new slab, and ive made a triangular plate. Im keeping with the same concept but not using the exact same construction method. I let this plate set out to dry so hopefully it will become more leather hard over the weekend.

4/25/19 - this week i finished up my set of four and started on my dinner place setting. For the dinner plate i was going to do a rectangle shape and i traced it out to the right size but the clay is too thick. I hope that it will be moist enough to keep flattening. For the four plates I put on a few good coats of transparent gloss glaze over the underglaze and i hope that they turn out good.
