2/22/2019 - This is the progress I have continued with my bust in class. I was very very frustrated with the head and face last week so I completely took off the head, reshaped it, fixed the neck, and reattached it. I think that the head looks much much better now and I think that I actually made some good progress in developing the face. The penguin is a piece that I glazed last week and Im extremely happy with how it looks now that its fired. I used a gloss black and gloss maize yellow for the back and head. I used a transparent matte for the front belly part. I think that the contrast is really interesting and gives the piece a bit of personality. I gave it to a friend who really likes penguins.
